Accounting Clerk

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the chief accountant in the proper functioning of the accounting department.

Responsibilities

– Check, process and pay accounts payable

– Bill and track customer accounts

– Prepare slips and make deposits at the bank

– Validate and save credit card statements and refund requests

– Perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations

– Check the contracts, the denunciations and the receipts of the subcontractors

– Support the accounting department

– Produce various analyzes and reconciliations of accounts using Excel

– Perform various clerical tasks (classification, data entry, …)

Required skills

– DEC, DEP or AEC in accounting

– Have a good knowledge of Office suite software

– Have 2 or 3 years of business experience (under construction, an asset)

– Be independent, reliable and rigorous

– Have experience with accounts payable

– Ability for teamwork

– Have worked with Maestro accounting software (an asset)

– Bilingualism (an asset)
